The hiking club travels to Marietta to hike Sope Creek Trail this Saturday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m.
This relatively easy trail will take us through forest, along the creek and past the ruins of a Civil War paper mill.

Scouts should wear their Class B shirts. As always, they should bring a small pack with the “six essentials” — water, a light snack, sun/insect/rain protection, a simple first aid kit, a light source and a whistle.
Please gather at the parking area for the trail, 3760 Paper Mill Rd SE, Marietta, GA 30067, and look for Pack 564 leaders. Note: Parking is $3.
