Wednesday is last day for Spring Trip registrations, refunds

us-space-rocket-ctr-logoUPDATE: You have until Wednesday at noon to enter a new registration or request a refund.

We need to give a hard count to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center next week, so the cutoff for new registrations or refund requests will be 11:59 p.m. Tuesday night  Wednesday at noon. Please get all of your requests in by then.

Also, the Space Center says we have to order a single entree for the group. Plan now is to decide on what that will be by show of hands at the pack meeting Tuesday night.

If for some reason you can’t eat whatever entree ends up being chosen, you should be able to order from Rocket Center’s “Mars Grill,” which offers a salad bar, burgers, bbq and other items.

We’ll resend the email with trip details to all registrants on Wednesday or Thursday.

Earn Cub Bucks by selling Camp Cards

campcards2015This year Cub Scout Pack 564 will be doing a few things differently with the camp cards.

You can start selling as soon as you get your cards. All unsold cards and/or monies due on Monday, May 11, 2015.

Camp Cards are sold for $10 each with $4 going directly to the Scout’s Cub Buck account. This account can be used to pay for camps, dues, or other Scouting related items.

On top of Cub Bucks, the Northeast Georgia Council offers the following bonuses:

  • Sell 5 = Patch
  • Sell 25 = $25 Visa Gift Card
  • Sell 50 = $50 Visa Gift Card
  • Sell 100 = $100 Visa Gift Card
  • Sell 250 = $250 Visa Gift Card
  • Sell 500 = $500 Visa Gift Card

Each den leader to make arrangements to come by and pick up your den’s cards. We will be starting out by giving each scout five cards. If you want more,  please contact Mathew Kaswinkel.

The den that sells the most, will get a pizza party.

You can sell almost anywhere, (except in-front of Publix). Just get permission before you do.

Happy selling!

No pack meeting Tuesday

pack meetingJust a reminder that we will NOT be having a regular pack meeting this Tuesday. The Blue and Gold Banquet on Saturday will substitute for the monthly pack meeting.

The last two pack meetings of the year are scheduled for Tuesday, April 14 and Tuesday, May 12.

The April pack meeting will feature special guest magician Arthur Atsma. May will feature our newly enhanced year-end party, paid for with proceeds from our spectacularly successful fall popcorn sale. More details on that to come.
