Uniform Inspection at tomorrow night’s pack meeting

pack meetingScouts from Troop 549 will inspect uniforms of all scouts and scouters at tomorrow night’s meeting. This isn’t a hard-core inspection, but you’ll still want to send your boys looking their best.

Review the uniform inspection sheet to know what the scouts will be graded on, but you can ignore the lines about pants and socks. Pack 564’s uniform policy is “belt up,” meaning official pants and socks are not required.

We’ll also hear more about the Pinewood Derby and Blue and Gold Banquet.

This will also be your last chance to register in person for the Spring Trip, although you can  can register online anytime on the website or in person through Jan. 30.

Pinewood Derby pre-registration begins

pinewood bannerCalling all racers! It’s time to pre-register for the Pinewood Derby on Jan. 24.

Please visit the registration link on the Pinewood Derby page to sign up your scout and any adult/sibling entries you plan to field in this year’s derby.

Filling out this form now will save both you and race staff time on check-in night, and it takes just a few moments.

Also, remember that as your son is making his car you should be sure to consult the Inspection Registration Form to ensure the car adheres to derby rules and measurement requirements.

Online registration is now open for the Spring Trip!

registration iconRegistration is now open for the Spring Trip, and we’ve made it easier than ever before to sign up and settle up with online registration and payment!

All it takes is three easy steps:

1. Go to the Spring Trip page and click on the “Register now for the spring trip!” banner at the top of the page.

2. Fill out the form. Don’t forget to enter a valid Cub Bucks amount if you want to use them for this trip (log in to TroopTrack to check your son’s money account before registering).

3. Choose your payment method (you can select from credit card/PayPal, cash or check) and complete your transaction. If you’re paying the full balance with Cub Bucks, you don’t need to do anything. If you’re paying with cash or check, just bring your payment into the December or January pack meetings. If you are paying by credit card or PayPal, you’ll be taken automatically to the PayPal website to complete payment. You do not have to create a PayPal account to use this option. Also note that your PayPal receipt will come from Nathan Stephens, who is the pack treasurer.  You’ll also receive a confirmation email with details of your registration.

That’s it! You’re ready to blast off with the pack at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center!

You can also register in person (using these same online forms) through the January pack meeting. Online registration will continue through the end of January.

If you have questions, please contact Spring Trip Coordinator Christine Pearson.
